Sintered Stone is the pinnacle of architectural surface technology. Unlike traditional porcelain or ceramic, sintered stone is manufactured using a proprietary process that fuses natural minerals under 400 bar of pressure and fires them at temperatures exceeding 1200°C. This result is a "metamorphic-speed" engineered stone with performance metrics that surpass natural granite.
Extreme Durability & Versatility
Sintered stone is characterized by its near-zero porosity and absolute UV stability. Because it contains no resins, it can be used in direct sunlight without fading and can handle direct contact with high-temperature cookware without cracking. It is A1 Fire Rated (non-combustible) and resistant to the harshest chemical cleaners, including bleach and acetone.
Precision Fabrication Standards
Due to its high internal tension and density, sintered stone requires expert fabrication. At our facility, we utilize specialized waterjet cutting at 300-320 bar and CNC machines with specific feed rates (≤200mm/min) to prevent edge stress and ensure perfect mitered joins for waterfall edges.
Format & Architectural Applications
We provide sintered stone in large-format panels (up to 3200x1600mm) and multiple thicknesses to suit diverse engineering needs:
- 6mm & 9mm: Ideal for lightweight furniture (coffee tables, wine cabinets) and interior wall cladding.
- 12mm & 20mm: Engineered for heavy-duty kitchen islands and commercial flooring.
Key Benefits
- Food-safe and hygienic (Stain Resistance Class 5).
- Frost-resistant and suitable for extreme exterior facades.
- Available in "Velvet" and "Silk" tactile finishes.
