Formed through intense geological pressure in Brazil, these Azul Macaubas Quartzite Slabs are recognized for a crystalline matrix that moves through a range of pale sky and deep indigo tones. Its exceptional hardness (Mohs 7.0) makes it a technical marvel, offering the aesthetic beauty of a rare marble with the practical performance of a granite. The visual character of the slabs is defined by a medium-to-fine network of white and grey veining that flows across the blue field. Because each slab is a unique record of its geological formation, the material acts as a natural focal point. It is especially effective in large-scale applications such as full-height feature walls, reception desks, and waterfall kitchen islands where the full pattern can be presented without interruption.

Our current inventory is focused on large-format slabs, typically ranging from 240cm to 300cm in length. This sizing is ideal for seamless installations and matched-pair book-matching, which maximizes the impact of the crystalline pattern. While a polished finish provides the highest level of contrast and reflectivity, honed and leathered options are available for projects requiring a more tactile, low-glare surface that retains the stone's intense blue hue.

We supply primarily in 2cm and 3cm thicknesses to support custom fabrication and structural stability in large panels.
