Bathroom Vanity & Wall Surrounds
Bathroom environments present a unique challenge for natural stone: high humidity, constant water contact, and exposure to personal care chemicals. Our stone solutions are selected for their low porosity and timeless aesthetic, transforming utility into a spa-inspired sanctuary.
Moisture Resistance & Hygiene
Sanitation and ease of cleaning are paramount in wet zones. Our Inorganic Terrazzo (DXW Series) and Summerly Quartz surfaces are virtually non-porous (<0.05% absorption), preventing the growth of mold and bacteria. For a more classic look, our white marbles are pre-treated with deep-penetrating sealers at the factory to provide immediate protection from soap scum and water spots.
We utilize precision waterjet cutting (300-320 bar) for ceramic sink integrations. Our Automatic Chamfering machines then provide a perfectly smooth edge around the cutout, essential for the safety and luxury feel of undermount installations.
Customized Vanity Design
Each vanity top is fabricated to your specific blueprint. Our customization includes:
- Integrated Backsplashes: Matching 20mm stone strips to protect your wall from moisture.
- Apron Fronts: 50mm-100mm mitered aprons for a massive, monolithic appearance.
- Basin Selection: Custom-cut openings for rectangular, oval, or vessel-style basins.
Recommended Materials for Bathrooms
- Milas Lilac Marble - The ultimate luxury statement for feature bathroom walls and vanities.
- Statuario Quartz - A high-performance alternative that replicates the beauty of Calacatta without the maintenance.
- Cinderella Grey (Polished) - For a calm, misty-grey palette that coordinates well with modern chrome fixtures.
Long-term Care in Wet Zones
While our bathroom stone is factory-sealed, we recommend a refresh of the impregnating sealer every 12-24 months for natural marble and travertine. Use only pH-neutral cleaners to maintain the mirror-like shine (>90 GU) of your polished surfaces.
